This GVO high-precision hydraulic main relief valve is custom-developed for Komatsu's medium and large tonnage heavy-duty excavators. It is precisely compatible with the PC300-8, PC350-8 eighth-generation electronically controlled fuel injection models, and the PC400-7 seventh-generation mining heavy-duty models. It is a multi-way distribution valve with a built-in main pressure relief valve, commonly known in the industry as a hydraulic main cannon, overload safety valve, or system pressure regulating valve. It is the core of pressure control and overload safety protection for the hydraulic system of 30-ton to 40-ton heavy-duty excavators.

This matching relief valve strictly adheres to the original factory calibration pressure settings for each Komatsu model, setting the relief opening threshold. When the load pressure reaches the safe upper limit, it smoothly and gently opens to release pressure. On one hand, it rigidly locks the maximum output pressure of the hydraulic main pump, effectively protecting high-priced core hydraulic components such as the hydraulic main pump, travel motor, swing motor, high-pressure cylinder, high-pressure oil pipes, and multi-way distribution valve from overpressure breakdown damage, significantly reducing the huge repair costs caused by sudden major component failures. On the other hand, it prevents premature and ineffective relief from consuming hydraulic power, ensuring ample power for continuous operation of medium-tonnage excavators and maximizing the explosive power for mining rock breaking in 40-ton heavy-duty excavators.

Compared to inferior relief valves, which exhibit shortcomings such as achieving the required pressure when cold-started, experiencing a sharp drop in pressure after oil temperature rises, causing severe overflow impact vibration, and generating ear-piercing noise in the hydraulic system, the GVO relief valve demonstrates exceptional pressure consistency during cold starts and prolonged continuous operation after warm-up. Its pressure stabilization performance remains consistent throughout full-load shifts, effectively mitigating hidden losses such as equipment stalling under heavy loads, excessive fuel consumption, abnormal spikes in hydraulic oil temperature, and abnormal wear of the main pump's internal plungers. This directly increases the daily output and uptime of large-tonnage excavators, extends the service life of the entire high-pressure hydraulic system, and maximizes the return on investment for heavy-duty engineering equipment.
