The GVO excavator relief valve, compatible with Hitachi excavators, is a key pressure control valve in the hydraulic system. It regulates hydraulic pressure, releases overload pressure, protects core hydraulic components such as the main valve and hydraulic pump, and ensures stable operation of the entire machine.
This relief valve is precision-machined from high-quality steel and undergoes overall quenching treatment. Product Introduction
This GVO cartridge-type high-pressure relief valve is specifically designed for Komatsu's 40-ton ultra-large tonnage mining excavators, precisely covering three main models: the PC400-7 seventh-generation direct-injection mining excavator, the PC400-8 eighth-generation electronic injection upgraded model, and the PC450-7 heavy-duty enhanced version. It is a multi-way distribution valve with a built-in cartridge-type main pressure relief valve, commonly known in the industry as a hydraulic main gun, overload safety valve, or system pressure regulating valve. It serves as the pressure control center and ultimate overload safety protection component for the high-pressure hydraulic circuit of ultra-large excavators.
The valve body of this product is made of ultra-high strength alloy structural steel, integrally forged into a single blank. It undergoes a dual strengthening process of high-temperature tempering heat treatment and surface high-frequency quenching, maximizing the valve body's overall compressive rigidity and deformation resistance. It can withstand long-term ultra-high pressure instantaneous impact, continuous immersion in 90℃ high-temperature hydraulic oil corrosion, and repeated scouring by hard particles and impurities within the hydraulic oil. It will not experience fatal failures such as valve body bulging deformation, stripped threads, or cracking and leakage throughout the entire process.
The valve core and seat employ an ultra-precision inner and outer circular grinding process, while the sealing cone surface undergoes mirror honing and polishing. This micron-level miniature fit clearance completely eliminates common problems of older relief valves, such as internal hydraulic oil leakage under high-pressure conditions, pressure drop during prolonged hot operation, and slow pressure relief. The internal pressure spring is made of high-temperature resistant, high-fatigue chromium-vanadium alloy spring steel, and has undergone tens of thousands of reciprocating opening and closing fatigue life tests. During long-term continuous relief operation, the spring force attenuation is negligible, and the relief start pressure remains constant, completely avoiding the risk of pressure loss and pump stalling caused by spring fatigue fracture.
The upper and lower connecting threads are machined with high-precision thread rolling, ensuring a uniform pitch and tight engagement. They are fitted with oil-resistant, high and low temperature resistant, and aging-resistant fluororubber O-rings, preventing seal bulging, breakage, and oil leakage even in high-temperature, heavy-load, continuous operation environments in mines.
