Product Introduction

This GVO high-precision cartridge-type hydraulic main relief valve is custom-developed for Komatsu's 16-18 ton class of small and medium-sized main excavators. It is precisely compatible with three widely used models: the PC160-7 seventh-generation direct injection model, the PC160-8 eighth-generation electronic injection upgraded model, and the PC180-7 heavy-duty reinforced version. It is a multi-way main control distribution valve with a built-in cartridge-type pressure relief valve, commonly known in the industry as a hydraulic main cannon, overload safety valve, or system pressure regulating valve. It is a core pressure reference and key component for overload safety protection in the hydraulic system of compact excavators.

The valve body is integrally forged from a high-quality alloy structural steel blank, undergoing dual strengthening treatment of quenching and tempering heat treatment and surface high-frequency quenching. This significantly improves the overall structural rigidity and pressure resistance, meeting the durability requirements of the PC160 series for long-term, high-frequency, light-load operation, while also withstanding the instantaneous peak pressure generated by occasional heavy-load impacts of the PC180-7. Even under long-term immersion in high-temperature hydraulic oil at around 80℃ and the scouring of fine impurities in the oil, it will not exhibit valve body deformation, thread stripping, body cracking, or thread leakage.

The valve core and seat employ an ultra-precision inner and outer circular grinding process, while the sealing cone surface undergoes mirror honing and polishing. This micron-level precision fit eliminates common problems in older valve components, such as high-pressure internal leakage, pressure drop during prolonged hot operation, and slow pressure relief. The internal pressure spring is made of high-temperature resistant chromium-vanadium alloy spring steel, having undergone tens of thousands of reciprocating opening and closing fatigue life tests. Even with long-term frequent overflow operation, the spring force decay is minimal, and the overflow start-up pressure remains constant over a long period, eliminating the risk of system pressure loss and damage to the hydraulic main pump due to spring fatigue and breakage.

The connecting threads at both ends are machined using a precision thread rolling process, ensuring uniform pitch and tight engagement. They are fitted with oil-resistant and high/low temperature fluororubber O-rings, ensuring that the seals do not harden, bulge, or leak oil under continuous high-temperature operation.
