The GVO excavator relief valve, compatible with Hitachi excavators, is a key pressure control valve in the hydraulic system. It regulates hydraulic pressure, releases overload pressure, protects core hydraulic components such as the main valve and hydraulic pump, and ensures stable operation of the entire machine.

This GVO cartridge-type main relief valve is a core hydraulic pressure protection component exclusive to the  EC460 heavy-duty excavator. It precisely matches the original EC460's main valve mounting specifications, perfectly replacing the original relief valve assembly and serving as an indispensable pressure safety line of defense for the entire machine's hydraulic control system.

As a mainstay 60-ton heavy-duty mining machine, the  EC460 is constantly engaged in high-intensity, heavy-duty operations such as hard rock mining in large mines, large-scale earthwork stripping, heavy-duty slag transportation, deep excavation of infrastructure foundation pits, and rock breaking. During operation, instantaneous ultra-high hydraulic shocks are generated when the bucket bites into hard rocks, the hydraulic cylinder is fully pressurized, and emergency braking of the swing. The relief valve monitors the main pump output oil pressure in real time. Once the system pressure exceeds the rated safety threshold, it will instantly open to relieve pressure and guide the excess hydraulic oil back to the hydraulic oil tank. This prevents high-cost overhaul failures such as internal plunger scoring of the main hydraulic pump, cracking of the distribution plate, scoring and deformation of the valve holes of the multi-way main control valve, rupture of high-pressure oil pipes, and damage to internal components of the travel motor and swing motor.
