The GVO excavator relief valve, compatible with Hitachi excavators, is a key pressure control valve in the hydraulic system. It regulates hydraulic pressure, releases overload pressure, protects core hydraulic components such as the main valve and hydraulic pump, and ensures stable operation of the entire machine.

This relief valve is precision-machined from high-quality steel and undergoes overall quenching treatment. Product Introduction

This GVO cartridge-type main relief valve is a key pressure protection component for the distribution valve of classic heavy-duty mining excavators in the B and C series. It is precisely compatible with four models: the EC460B mid-tonnage main heavy-duty excavator, the EC700B original 70-tonnage mining excavator, the upgraded EC700C, and the EC700CHR long-arm rock excavator. It features a 1:1 replica of the original valve bore diameter, thread pitch, cartridge length, valve core stroke, and pressure regulating structure, making it an indispensable and ultimate overload pressure relief barrier for the hydraulic circuits of these high-tonnage excavators.

The EC460B is primarily used for large-scale earthmoving, infrastructure pit excavation, and heavy-duty continuous loading; the EC700B and EC700C, as core 70-ton mining equipment, are constantly used in open-pit mines for hard rock excavation after blasting, large rock transport, and high-load spoil removal; the EC700CHR long-arm rock version is specifically designed for steep slopes and deep trench hard rock dismantling, enduring the powerful jaws of the bucket biting into bedrock, hydraulic cylinder overpressure lock-up, and the instantaneous high-pressure impact from high-speed emergency braking during rotation.

The relief valve can monitor the main pump output oil pressure in real time around the clock. Once the system pressure exceeds the rated safety threshold, it will open the relief valve in milliseconds to relieve pressure and guide the excess high-pressure oil back to the hydraulic oil tank. This avoids major overhaul failures such as main hydraulic pump plunger scoring, distributor plate breakage, multi-way main control valve body bore scoring and deformation, high-pressure oil pipe rupture, and damage to internal precision components of the travel and swing motors.
