This GVO multi-slot cartridge relief valve is a core pressure protection component in the hydraulic system of Komatsu's classic 6th generation small and medium-sized excavators. It is precisely compatible with the PC100-6 and PC120-6 standard straight boom models, and also perfectly suited for the PC128UU and PC138UU tailless swing short-boom municipal excavators. It can function as the main control valve and main relief valve to stabilize the overall system pressure, or as a swing overload relief valve to buffer steering impact pressure. It is a high-demand hydraulic wear part for the maintenance and replacement of older 10-14 ton Komatsu equipment.

The valve body undergoes heat treatment to enhance structural toughness, and the outer circumference is precision ground and polished, resulting in a smooth and wear-resistant surface. This resists repeated scouring and scratching by impurities in the hydraulic oil, preventing internal wall damage that could lead to continuous internal pressure leakage.

The multi-stage valve core and seat sealing pair are precision machined using deep-hole honing and ultra-mirror grinding, with the clearance controlled at the micron level. This ensures sensitive pressure sensing and millisecond-level triggering for opening and closing. When the peak pressure of the hydraulic system exceeds the equipment's rated safety value, the valve core instantly opens to overflow and stabilize the pressure. Upon pressure drop, it immediately re-seated and locks in place to maintain pressure. This fundamentally solves common problems in many Komatsu models caused by aging and failure of the overflow valve, including insufficient digging force, slow boom drop, weak boom retraction, bucket movement jamming, swing vibration and tail drift, pressure drop during heavy-load travel, stalling speed reduction, and abnormally high hydraulic oil temperature.
