Product Introduction

This GVO heavy-duty cartridge-type main relief valve is a core pressure control component developed based on Komatsu's original hydraulic valve drawings, pressure parameters, and valve chamber installation structure. It comprehensively covers older 30-ton direct-injection mining machines such as the PC300-6, PC340-6, and PC350-6, medium-tonnage earthmoving machines such as the PC240-7, and the new electronically enhanced PC290-8 excavator. As a multi-way distribution valve with built-in main safety valve, it performs three core functions: limiting the maximum pressure of the entire machine's hydraulic system, providing pressure relief during heavy-load instantaneous overload, and maintaining pressure under continuous load.

The PC240-7, a 24-ton class main-duty earthmoving excavator, is primarily used in light to medium-load engineering scenarios such as municipal road construction, stormwater and sewage pipe network excavation, site leveling, small-scale earthwork transportation, and old building demolition. Its valve body features a built-in standard elastic pressure regulating spring, exhibiting excellent linearity in oil pressure opening and overflow return. Under light-load, precise control, system pressure fluctuations are minimal. The synchronized compound movements of raising the boom, retracting the bucket, and rotating are smooth and vibration-free, with an operating feel very close to the original factory standard, fully meeting the stable pressure requirements for stable operation in civil infrastructure construction.

The PC290-8 electronically controlled version offers even faster hydraulic response and is commonly used in high-intensity conditions such as deep pit excavation, heavy-load full-bucket incline operations, and prolonged high-frequency hammer strikes. Internally, it uses a higher fatigue-resistant alloy pressure spring, which is resistant to fatigue and failure even after tens of thousands of compression cycles. During long-term, continuous full-load operation, the oil pressure remains constant without sudden drops, preventing the oil pressure from plummeting and digging power from rapid attenuation due to spring fatigue.
