This GVO heavy-duty cartridge-type main relief valve is a core pressure control component specifically designed for Komatsu's 7th generation mechanical hydraulic and 8th generation electric hybrid models. It is precisely compatible with the PC200-7, PC210-7 classic 20-ton 7th generation direct-injection mechanical version, PC240-8 electric-upgraded earthmoving machine, and PC300-7 30-ton heavy-duty mining machine. As a main control multi-way valve with built-in safety pressure regulating assembly, it undertakes three core functions: controlling the maximum pressure limit of the entire machine's hydraulic system, providing pressure relief during heavy-load instantaneous overload, and maintaining pressure under continuous load.
The valve core guide sliding position at the top of the valve body uses a high-temperature resistant fluororubber composite sealing ring, which can withstand the ultra-high oil temperature in the closed engine room during summer, corrosion from deteriorated hydraulic oil, and hardening, cracking, and permanent deformation failure of the sealing ring caused by the temperature difference between day and night throughout the year. The middle section of the valve body features two independent stepped sealing grooves, reinforced with thickened oil-resistant nitrile rubber O-rings. The double-seal system forms a closed-loop protection system, completely preventing high-pressure hydraulic oil from leaking outwards from the interface between the valve body and the multi-way distribution valve. Even under conditions of prolonged, rough, and rushed operation—such as muddy construction sites, dusty quarries, and inadequate hydraulic oil filter maintenance with poor oil cleanliness—there will be no risk of external oil leakage or seepage through threaded gaps.
The cartridge-type external thread is manufactured using a precision rolling process, resulting in a full, regular, and highly smooth thread profile. It screws smoothly into the valve cavity without chipping or stripping, preventing damage to the internal valve threads and avoiding secondary repair and rework costs. The large hexagonal locking nut at the bottom distributes force evenly, ensuring the valve body remains firmly secured throughout the PC300-7's heavy-duty excavation impacts, off-road vibrations, and high-frequency rotation and start-stop processes. This effectively avoids system pressure drift and fluctuations caused by long-term vibrations.
The valve body undergoes a blackening and passivation process to prevent rust and corrosion, exhibiting excellent resistance to rust from construction site mud and water, as well as electrochemical corrosion in humid environments. Even older 7th generation models, which are often left outdoors for extended periods or installed in humid underground mining conditions, are less prone to rusting and valve core jamming. This significantly reduces the labor costs associated with repeated disassembly, cleaning, and pressure recalibration by maintenance personnel, as well as the project delays caused by sudden equipment shutdowns. It is highly compatible with the high-intensity 24-hour shift operation mode of multiple equipment units operated by engineering rental companies.
