This threaded cartridge-type main relief valve is a dedicated hydraulic pressure control valve for Hyundai's seventh-generation LC extended chassis series excavators. It is compatible with three classic models: the R140LC-7 mini excavator, the R180LC-7A medium excavator, and the R210LC-7A main 21-ton medium excavator. As a main control multi-way valve with an integrated main relief valve body, it is a core precision component for pressure limiting, overload relief, and constant pressure stabilization in the entire equipment's hydraulic system. It directly determines the machine's excavation output power and the smoothness of complex movements, while protecting high-value hydraulic components such as the main hydraulic pump, cylinders, and travel/slewing motors from overpressure impact damage.

First, the extreme load overload pressure relief protection function: When the excavator performs overload extreme operations such as deep digging in hard soil, prying and breaking rocks, forced pressure build-up in the bucket, jammed jacking under swing load, and heavy-load jacking with the bulldozer blades, the pressure in the main hydraulic circuit will surge instantly. The relief valve can open rapidly and sensitively within milliseconds to relieve pressure, directly guiding excess high-pressure hydraulic oil back to the hydraulic tank. This effectively locks the maximum safe working pressure of the hydraulic system, preventing the main hydraulic pump, main control multi-way distribution valve, boom and arm cylinders, high-pressure oil pipes, and travel and swing motors from bursting due to instantaneous overpressure, and preventing the deformation and damage of internal precision parts due to compression. This significantly reduces the high replacement and maintenance costs of major hydraulic components in small and medium-sized excavators.

Secondly, the linear adjustable constant pressure stabilization function: the overflow pressure of the machine system can be smoothly and linearly adjusted by adjusting the screw at the tail of the valve stem. After the pressure is locked by tightening the nut, the pressure will not decrease or drop during long-term continuous heavy-load operation, stabilizing the output oil pressure of the hydraulic system. This ensures that every single action of boom lifting, stick retraction, bucket digging, and slewing is powerful and efficient, and that compound actions are smoothly linked without jamming, lag, or deviation. This completely solves the shortcomings of inconsistent operating handle feel and inconsistent digging force caused by pressure fluctuations.
