Working Principle

The distribution valve solenoid valve is a key control element in the hydraulic system of the Carter 320D excavator. When the excavator operating handle is moved, the pilot valve receives the operating signal and generates pilot pressure. The pressure signal is transmitted to the distribution valve solenoid valve, and the solenoid valve controls the movement of the valve core according to the signal, thereby changing the internal oil channel of the distribution valve, so that the hydraulic oil flows to the corresponding actuator according to the demand, realizing various actions of the excavator. For example, when the boom needs to rise, the corresponding solenoid valve opens to guide the hydraulic oil into the rodless chamber of the boom cylinder to push the boom up.

- Solenoid valve stuck: Hydraulic oil pollution, impurities entering the solenoid valve, or valve core wear will cause the valve core to stick, causing abnormal excavator movements, such as a certain action cannot be performed or the speed is slow.

- Coil burnout: Long-term use, current overload, line short circuit and other reasons may cause the solenoid valve coil to burn out. At this time, the solenoid valve cannot work normally and the corresponding action fails.

- Seal damage: Aging and wear of seals will cause oil leakage, resulting in a drop in system pressure, affecting the working efficiency and accuracy of the excavator.
