1. Appearance and Clearance Inspection
* Pump liner (cylinder block) inspection: Carefully observe whether there are scratches or abrasions on the inner surface of the pump liner bore. If deep grooves are caused by dirt, they are usually irreparable and must be replaced.
* Piston inspection: Check whether there are abrasions or grooves on the piston surface. Minor damage can be repaired by grinding and polishing; if severely worn, it needs to be replaced.
* Clearance standards: The clearance between the piston and the pump liner bore should generally be controlled within 8% of the piston diameter. For axial piston motors, if the clearance between the piston and the rotor bore exceeds 0.05mm, it will cause weak operation and must be replaced.
2. Complete Replacement Principle
The distribution plate and pump liner are precision friction pairs. If wear or scratches are found on the distribution plate during disassembly and inspection, the entire piston pump liner and distribution plate must be replaced together. Replacing only one component alone cannot guarantee proper sealing.
