• Integrated Safety Relief Valve The built-in relief valve serves as the primary safety device for the swing circuit. When system pressure exceeds the preset limit during swing start or stop, the valve opens instantly to release excess hydraulic oil back to the tank, preventing overload, overheating, and damage to the swing motor assembly. Notably, the relief valve can control pressure in two stages (high and low) to ensure smooth operation and reduce shock when the upper structure starts or stops swinging.
• Make-Up (Check) Valve for Cavitation Prevention The make-up valve, also known as a check valve or anti-reaction valve, prevents cavitation damage by supplying oil to the motor's inlet when a vacuum occurs during sudden stops or overrunning loads. In swing applications, the heavy upper structure wants to keep rotating due to momentum after the control valve is neutralized. The make-up valve bleeds off trapped, compressed oil at the exact moment of stopping, bringing the machine to a smooth, controlled halt and preventing destructive cavitation that can erode internal components.
