- Gear pump: When a pair of meshing gears rotate, the sealed volume formed by the tooth groove and the pump body changes. - Vane pump: When the rotor rotates, the vanes extend under the action of centrifugal force or springs, forming multiple sealed volumes with the inner surface of the stator. As the rotor rotates, the sealed volume increases in the "large diameter section" of the stator (oil suction) and decreases in the "small diameter section" (oil pressure). The change in sealed volume is achieved by the curved shape of the inner surface of the stator and the expansion and contraction of the vanes, which has better sealing and more uniform flow.
- Plunger pump: The plunger reciprocates in the plunger hole of the cylinder body to change the sealed volume formed by the plunger and the cylinder body. The volume increases when the plunger extends (oil suction), and decreases when it retracts (oil pressure). The change in sealed volume is directly driven by the axial movement of the plunger, with high pressure and high efficiency, and the sealing is achieved by the precise matching of the plunger and the cylinder body.
